| | Platinum Account Customer | Sky Broadband Max Howdie Folks
My current Broadband Provider (Pipex) is due for renewal next month. I'm thinking of taking up the Sky Broadband Max offer.
Has anyone else used it, and is it reliable? Would you recommend it? How have you found the service and are you using their wireless router?
Cheers |

Do you have a reason to want to switch? Does Pipex not serve you well?
Jeremy | Hi Jeremy,
It does I guess, but Pipex costs me £14.99 per month with a 2GB allowance.
Sky Broadband on the otherhand would be £10, unlimited usage plus wireless (which I don't have and would like)
I'm tempted to leave it until after the new year as the last thing I would want is to be left without an internet connection over the holiday period. |

Take a look at my experience here. That's not to say the service isn't fast - the broadband when I have it is extremely fast, therefore excellent value for money and beware - because of the new systems Sky are using, you might find that your service is taken from your current provider without warning and without receiving your modem etc so I would advise being prepared for some delays here and there but, like I say, superb speeds and equally good pricing. |

pings on games suck, no one wants to help | I on the other hand have had a great experiance. I'm on the mid package and speeds are great, reliability is good.
I used to be on Tiscali and coming from their crap service with disconnections every 2 mins, Sky is literally a godsend.
I'm very happy. |
