Talking T-Mobile - Refunded all data charges!

I bought an MDA Pro phone through one of those mobile phone shops scattered over the internet and advertising in the back pages of the press. I was really made up with my purchase and still play with it like a little kid to this day! Anyway, when i bought the phone, on the webshop site it clearly stated that i would be on the Flext35 price plan, which "gives an allowance of £180 to use any way you want". So i did. I used it for phone calls, texting, Skype calls, emails and general web browsing.

The shock i got with my first monthly bill, when my allowance used was just something like £28 out of the £180, but the bill was over £100!!! All data useage had been charged extra. I was furious to say the least, so i complained to t-mobile who asked me to send copies of the website offer where i saw the bit about using the allowance anyway i wanted.

Yesterday, i received a telephone call from t-mobile, informing me that they were refunding £108 for all data charges since i opened my contract in May 2006! Well chuffed.

Just thought i would post this incase any others have had similar problems. T-Mobile do listen and do refund when mistakes are made.

You know, i would NEVER have attempted to try for a refund before finding this forum. I really was the type who would tell myself, it was my own silly fault for not checking or reading the small print etc., or even accepting charges because "that's the way it's always been". But here i am with 3 claims for refunds! One just underway, one almost complete and then this one with a full refund.

So i would just like to say a massive THANK YOU to all concerned with this group! :o

p.s. there will of course be a donation in the very near future for the good cause
