I just purchased my credit file online and I see that I have forgot to pay a very, very old phone account from 2002.
It was originally £214 and now its showing as £1712.00.
Thats a rip off and Im not paying that
Thats £1498 in interest and charges, I smell a con. |

If you admit any liability this would reset the statory limit clock and the six years will start again.
S.A.R. is a good idea but it might be more prudent to send a request under the CCA 1974, (not to mention a bit cheaper), specifically advising them that you do not recognise any debt with them.

It's not a CCA matter . (No credit was involved - it is a service contract). A S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) is the only way to get the information you require. |
