Default Dropping o2 tariff after 12 months!!! (18 month contract)
I've just tried to drop my o2 contract down to the cheapest tariff so that I can buy myself out and they say that you can only drop your tariff once per month and it takes a month to register each time!

Can they do this and is there a way around it? I really want my PAC code before I go travelling as I'd like to take up the tariff free corporate roaming deal we have at work before I leave next month!

Help would be appreciated.

Yup - 18 months is 18 months, you just make sure you use up every second of your inclusive allocation!
