T-Mobile Contract

I am guessing its a bit of a long shot but i am unhappy with my T-Mobile contract and i wish to cancel it. but i doubt i will be able to.

When i signed up i was told reception in my home area was "very good to excellent" and they still think it is according to their checking system. However i dont get reception within about 2-3 miles of my home (renderring my mobile totally useless at home! which needless to say is a pain.

And i also have a very hard time getting a working phone from them, ive had the contract about 11 months (of my 18 month contract) and ive had a fully working mobile phone for about 2 months accumalitively (spelling?)

i dont suppose there is any hope?

I have the same problem, Streetfinder says I'm in a good coverage area, but only if I'm on the first floor of my house. Go downstairs and its no service.

The problem is youv'e accepted their service by not challenging the accuracy of their predicted coverage when you first joined up. After 11 months, you're only recourse is to grin an bear it for the remaining seven (giving notice of departure in month 17), then make sure you leave them and don't re-sign, upgrade or switch to Virgin Mobile.

Anoter network will probably provide you with a much better service, so find out by trying them first on PAYG before committing to any contract.

Finally, no network guarantees their coverage, and it is stated in their T&Cs that the nature of wireless networks makes this a requirement.

Afraid so... UNLESS you know of a family member who resides elsewhere and would like to take on the remainder of the contract. That is allowed!

Im guessing a family member in mexico... that they cant chase wont make a difference!?
