Update..

Received usual VM bill today with advance charges to 31st August. As I have cancelled the DD, I have calculated the amount it should be (ie up 27th Aug - tight, aren't I?) and written a cheque for this. Letter done to accompany cheque and explain caluclations. None of the cancellation letters have been signed for yet, so I have put a copy in with the cheque. One way of another they'll get it then! Cheque cashed = Cancellation confirmation letter received!

A quick update..

Got final bill from VM today and they haven't tried to stitch me up re AOL.

In fact they owe me £1.24.
