Talktalk Packages Hi all,
I have a TalkTalk account for my telephone, was going to go with them for Broadband but they kept changing the set up date, so cancelled. Anyway, my account had International Anytime calls on so that I could phone abroad. I now have no need of this so phoned to cancel. To my amazement I was told that I couldn't downgrade but could change to Global, which included International calls. I said that I didn't want to phone abroad but the lady on the other end only repeated 'I'm sorry but you can't downgrade'. Told her not to bother, I'd leave things as they are, but I think I'll go back to BT.
It could be I suppose that, if I'd bothered to read the T&Cs properly, I would have already have known about their non-downgrade policy, in which case it's somewhat my own fault. Nevertheless, I don't see what the problem is with wanting to downgrade, it's costing me £9.99 a month for something I don't want to use.
Has anyone else fallen foul of TalkTalk's policies?
