If you agree to make a commitment to an firm, then you are expected to abide by its terms and conditions, on many casses for consumers there is a 'cooling off' period where no work is done to all them to change their mind, whilst business users do not get this flexivility. The time for finding a cheaper supplier is before you place an order and commit to service from another, it is only fiar that any work they unbdertake to process your original request is paid for, and if they have a £100 fee for cancellation, it would be difficult to have a sympathetic response simply because you had made an error and wanted out. It may be cheaper to complete the original deal, then switch if the competitor still can provide the same deal.
