Re: Vodafone Default There is no such thing as a 'Default Notice' - Vodafone simply marked your account as being 'in default' because the payment wasn't made by the due date. Don't confuse this with a CCJ or CCA Default, which require formal notice's to be served on the customer...
The only way the default is 'wrong' is if you paid within the timeframe allowed - unless you can get the network to agree they sent it to the wrong address (so you couldn't reasonably have known what to pay them) or a similar scenario, it's going to sit there. On the plus side, it'll also show that it has been paid and the account is no longer in default.
