I don't know about everyone else here suffering the same treatment, but i would love to see these people on watchdog, hopefully as Manda72 again rightly says we all have to make as much noise as possible. Please, please, please everyone complain to consumer direct, oft, offcom and even watchdog. I'm currently going through the legal route, following advice from consumer direct and then when i get no response ( see the faith i have in them!! ) i'm going all the way to court and i'll see them there.
Take care everyone!! | The terms and conditions definitely state 180 days, download a copy now from their website. To everbody on this forum that has contacted Watchdog, I salute you. Keep it going guys |

Consumer Direct (OFT) have now instigated proceedings - they have sent my file to my local Consumer Direct who will be in touch with me in 5 days to take more details.
I'll try to keep you all posted...

I registered with this forum today. Happy to know that regardless of what these theiving bastards are doing, there are still normal people such as yourselves fighting the course.
I too have contacted CD and was advised to consider small claims action which I am currently exploring.
I too would like to contact watch dog and any other org. necessary to get some action against these indolent bastards at EM.
Anyone have a direct line which would'nt cost me a bundle to speak to WD please.
I am so angry about this issue, but will keep cool and not lose my head as I will get even using any means available.
Lets fight together people. |

I would recommended that you send an e-mail to watchdog@bbc.co.uk which is what I have done. If you call it is just an ansaphone service which gives you about 20 seconds only to leave a message.
I have given EM notice of my intentions and after 10 more days will instigate legal proceedings through the small claims court to recover £480 plus costs.Whilst they are still trading I am fairly confident of getting back my money although I still have 12 more months of claims to go and so much more of the same to come. The aim of EM is to totally frustrate people to the extend that they just give up and drop out of their equation.
Good luck in your pursuit and it would be great to hear if of any success stories from anyone! |

In future send them using both options because at least we've got paperwork in our hands to show the court.
KEEP COMPLAINING TO WATCHDOG. |
I've been sending mine via recorded delivery. I have been storing the proof of deliveries from the Royal Mail website. On the new website I know it says you have to send them via email. This is probably so that they can completely ignore them. |

| | Basic Account Customer | Re: Express Mobiles I am sitting up at 6.30 in the morning suffering insomnia in a big part due to my worries surrounding express mobiles. I knew from the as soon as I received the phone last June that something wasn't right, but apparently as I had used the phone I was now stuck in the contract. I always sent my cashback claims promptly and as asked. I did get my first cheque but that took forever to receive. Like you all I am now waiting. I am currently due the cheques for instalment 2 and 3. I have phoned and written emails and been given lots of different excuses as to why the cheques haven’t arrived.
When I first got the mobile the company was called yes mobiles and I think within the month of getting the phone it changed to express mobiles. From what I can tell Vanilla mobiles is a company within Carphone warehouse. Vanilla finds hundreds of other companies to get new customers for them. Express mobiles being one of them. I am really scared because I can't afford this anymore. I barely even use the phone as I’m with Orange and find the network range appalling. I even renewed my old contract because of this believing well at least I’ll get this 40 quid a month back. I hope to do all the writing and legal requirements to get my money but I’m never good at things like this. I’ll try to do all that’s been said including Watchdog.
Sorry for the long post. I'm just so upset. |
