Default Trading Standards say loan is uninforcable

Hi.

I have requested my original contracts for loans taken out in 96/97 one is not countersigned & the Account number is different.

I've just recieved a letter from Pennine Debt Recovery stating that they are sending a 'representative' to my property. I have written to them stating 'debt' is in dispute & here's why:

This arrears has only occured due to Honours Students Loans doing nothing when I informed them I had moved abroad (system was down when I called & they would sort it out taking my address abroad) they have no record of my call suprise suprise & arrears notice was issued when I arrived back in the UK a year later. SO i want to fight this - i've always defered my payments & continue to do so & just do not recognise this debt as fair & should be cancelled.

Questions:

1. If I notify the debt company that one of my loan agreements is incorrectly completed will they cancel this part of my debt? If not how can I force this issue?

2. What body can I write to to complain about the circumstances of this arrears being issued in the first place & who would have power over the loan company to have my account reset to how it should be ie fully defered?

Cheers.

Your title seems to indicate that Trading Standards have said the loan is unenforceable, is that correct?
