Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.

Phoned them up on the off-chance that they'd offer me a quick deal on this to save going through the usual motions. Nope:
Him: "Any charges applied to your account are valid, andyou won't get them refunded"
Me: "So, would that apply to Bank Accounts too, like my Current Account for example?"
Him: "Yes, that would also be the case"
Me: "So, why was it then, that after I raised Court Action to recover these unlawful charges levied against my Current Account, the BOS refunded them? And then did the same thing after my threat of further Court Action for charges relating to my EasyCash Account?"
....silence....
Me: "So, my question is, as the amount that 'YOU OWE ME' (I LOVE LOVE LOVE THAT!!) at this time is relatively small in comparison to my other accounts, will you be willing to settle this over the phone or will I have to repeat my steps again to recover this.
Him: "We won't be able to refund them over the phone"
Me : "Ok, that tapping sound you can hear is me typing up my 1st letter to you - thanks anyway, bye bye.."
Prelim Letter ready to be posted tomorrow
