Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Anyone off to Silverstone to see the man in action?
I had planned to but unfortunately it clashes with the local carnival and I shall therefore be the Mad Hatter (Alice in Wonderland) to Baby Slayers Mad March Hare on the Surestart float.
You should be fine for parking you just tell them you need a parking pass - book over the 'phone it's easier. I think they're sold out of £99 tickets now though so cheapest are £199. Although if you're spending that money you can get some really good seats near the finish line with a good view of the pits for about £209 I think.
Ah the tickets are £229 actually, and the area is called Pit Straight A. I don't know if there's such a thing as a "best view" it depends what you want to watch - you may prefer to have a view over one of the corners to see some action - I'm just suggesting Pit Straight A as personally I think it'd be great to have a view of Hamilton crossing the finish line!
If you don't want to spend that much there's about 5 different options of where you can sit with the £199 tickets and whilst you get a reserved seat for the Sunday, you can go pretty much wherever you like on Friday and Saturday if you're going to see the practicing or qualifying (ticket includes all 3 days).
We went to Goodwood too!
Very, very wet and quite cold too. My lads thought it was fabulous having just got to the stage when they take a lot more interest in this stuff.
Hubby has a long standing professional interest in Land Speed Record vehicles so we were particularly pleased to see some famous ones in the flesh. The lads thought the sight of Mr Bean driving the Napier Railton was a fantastic thing.
Then to see some old F1 cars doing spin turns really capped the day for them. 'Sigh' - so many things that are still new to them. It's marvellous to be so young and have so much to learn.
Great day, shame about the rain!
