Can anyone tell me what the below means. I received a cheque for a quarter of the amount owed but declined there offer and returned the cheque.
When I logged on to the MCOL i got the message below. What do I do next?
I also got a letter today from Wragg&co giving notice of there intention to defend my claim on insufficient particulars of claim which Draft Order for Directions do i start to prepare
    Thanks

The defendant admits that all the money is owed.

    Please make your selection:
I accept the defendant's proposal for payment

Say how the defendant intends to pay. The court will send the defendant an order to pay. You will also be sent a copy.

The defendant has not made any proposal for payment

Say how you want the defendant to pay. You can ask for the judgment to be paid by instalments or in one payment. The court will send the defendant an order to pay. You will also be sent a copy.

Someone help with the MCOL bit please.
Sorry, don't know much about MCOL. I filed N1 at court.
The bit about insufficient particulars of claim seems to be a delaying tactic. Send 2 further copies of your list of charges with dates and amounts & stuff to the court by recorded delivery, and also to Wragge & Co by recorded delivery. Quick! You've probably sent this when you did your MCOL, but it could have got lost. Remember to put your claim No. on your SOC (statement of charges), both copies.

Adivce given is based on the experienceofothers from this website and is given without liability and without predjudice. Use your own judgement. If in doubt, consult a legally qualified practitioner.

Self-explanatory I think. Looks like A&L have "admitted" they owe you the full amount and want to settle. You're just being asked how you want to be paid .. in full or installments. Just pick which one you want to go for online and, if you need further clarification, give MCOL a ring first thing Monday.

Let us know how you go on.

Its not really proof cos screenies are easy altered but it all helps to show they messed u about
