Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I have a claim against RBS CHARGES thru Moneyline at the moment and have received 2 letters today, 1 from the bank with offer of £1259 and the other from the banks solicitors stating that they will defend and also require information etc to be sent to them. Claim is for £1737 + £216 interest + £120 court fee. I feel that i should reject this offer also they do not mention if this includes the £120 court fee i had to pay to moneyline . Am i being unreasonable?
Thanks Lorraine for your reply, do you think i should send the letter only to the bank and proceed with the next step of the court claim .Moneyline has now said that it transfering the claim to the court date stage.
