    Default Rbs Offer Help Required

I have a claim against RBSicon thru moneyline and today have received 2 letters, 1 from RBS offering £1259 and the other letter from the banks solicitors advising they are going to defend and want lots of info. The claim was for £1737 + £216 int + £120 court fee in total £2073. I feel that i should not accept this offer also no mention in the offer about the £120.00 court fee i had to pay to start my claim? am i being unreasonable in proceeding with the claim??
