Default Do I have to be bullied into payment method

    Hello everyone,

Found this site by pure accident whilst doing a search on Debt Managers Limited'.

After spending some time reading a few post relating to this company it appears that they are 'old friends' to you.

    My query is as follows:

My wife is being pursued by DML for a withdrawn overdrafticon. We acknowledge that we must pay this debt but as my wife no longer has a bank account I will need to pay the debt.

I am quite willing to pay the requested monthly amount but DML are insisting that it be paid by standing order. I would prefer to pay by telegraphic transfer as this is the method I use to pay All of my bills etc.

As technically this is not my debt can this company bully me into paying by standing order?

    Any replies appreciated.

I would not have thought that they can stipulate the payment method. I have moved this thread to the debt forum.

Thankyou sorry if I put my question in the wrong place.

So do you think it is just a case of telling them that i will not be bullied into paying in any other way than my prefferred method?

Yes, as long as they have the means to recieve your payment via that method then they should accept it.
