Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
i am in the process of claiming my money back from A&L have calculated they owe me about £800 all the revalent letters etc been posted, and i have now had a letter back offering me £22 to end the matter.where do i go from here. They keep quoting to me that the charges of £12 apply only to credit cards and not bank charges.can anybody help me.
This is a standard response. All&Pester will try to bluff you, offer small amounts to settle, baffle you with rubbish and drag things out as long as they possibly can.
If you have done your prelim and lba its time to make your claim via MCOL or your local Court - they will then state they are going to defend and will finally settle just before the Court date.
Once they have settled make a wasted costs claim.
Good luck ..............
