    Default Awaiting payment of settlement

I replied to Natwests' offer of pretty 90% of what i was asking at the start of last week.

Now I'm not being impatient but time is ticking and I had planned to have that money in my account for Glastonbury so if anyone has a similar experience of the time scale involved that would settle my jittery nerves.

As I work in finance (a company that peddles those awful store cards)I am quite familiar with the sort of bureaucratic ballet involved in giving money back to customers, especially as they no longer have an account with the company and its getting close to the time I would have thought it would take.

Maybe its on its way to me now but just in case, does anyone know how best to chase this up with Natwesticon without sounding like some money grabbing oik?

I am presuming you accepted their offer ? Then if they are paying direct into your account. It usually takes between 10 to 14 working days. So you are looking at around 3 weeks. Sorry.

Its your money taken unlawfully from your account and you have a legal right to claim it back.
