Hello there. Can anyone offer me any advice please? I nervously started the court process yesterday against Abbey National via 'Moneyclaim'. Whilst checking my bank balance this morning, I find that Abbey have credited my account with a number of 'miscellaneous fee refunds' totalling £160. The bank have n't sent me a letter telling me they were going to do this.
My question is this:
Shall I write to the bank and quote my previous offer to them, minus the £160?
Re: Mysterious 'miscellaneous fee refund'- from Abbey
Thanks both for the info. I thought of writing to Abbey, refering them to my last offer, minus the £160 they've just put in - I'd previously told them I'd accept £1500, rather than going for the interest as well....fair enough, I think?
