Second claim against Llloyds. Filed at court 15th May for old closed business a/c. Acknowledgement of Service received 5th June, Foot Anstey being the solicitors. Today had letter from them, usual confidential stuff offering to send a cheque for the full amount plus interest plus court fees. Just got to wait now for the cheque to arrive and clear and then another win notched up!
no idea.... I got a letter yesterday from sc & m saying this was the defence they were going to use in court and then this morning another letter settling in full with an extra £300 pounds on it... go figure that one !
I think Foot Anstey are getting alittle busy - I got a settlement this morning too. - Congrats on yours.
As to the logic of which cases get sorted quickly? My first letter went to Lloyds in November last year...
Thanks for the congrats. There seems to be no pattern unless it is because there are fewer business claims so these seem to get settled sooner as Lloyds are now using more firms of solicitors. This is the second business claim which has gone fairly quickly so I thought I would get these out of the way first and then start on the long haul with the personal accounts!
