    Default Parking charge at NCP?

Last night I recieved a parking chargeicon at an NCP in Kingston. Now I have parked their before at night but never knew that you had to pay just like alot of other people, not excusing my actions.

However the ticket issued I have concerns over and need to know if this makes the ticket invalid.

First the ticket does not state the Reduced charge of the full charge, these are both blank. (However the signs state this is £50 and £100 respectively.)

Second the time on the ticket states the car was first seen at 20:34 and Notcie issued at 20:34. I read somewhere that they have to give you 5 minutes or something to buy a ticket? Can I argue this.

Third the Location is just a name of a road and not what car park?

    Just need some help clarifying?

    Thanks

We need to know a bit more about the car park.Is it a private NCP car park, or is it a local authority car park which is managed by NCP? If you can scan the ticket and post it on here that would be helpful.

Im not sure, as most of the car parks in kingston are owned by the borough. But this maybe a private one. I will see if I can get a scan of the ticket.

No mention of any Acts: private ticket IMHO, not a criminal matter. Read the thread below.

is there any draft letters I can use to argue my case. I know for a fact they dont have CCTV at the car park. WHat is my best line of arguement?

Do absolutely nothing until they obtain the RK's details and write to you.

Any contact at this time can only be because you have possession of their 'invoice', which they will see as admission that you were the driver.

Also there is no date of issue as prescribed in its own small print. The date on the pcnicon only states when the vehicle was seen.

It has a separate time of issue.

If this was a council PCN then it would be so busted, but as it's private, it's not enforceable.
