    Default DG v AL

Hiya I'm at the stage where A & L have offered me part settlement ( £120 of £480 claim). I've rejected offer and given them notice of intention to start court proceedings in 14 days, which have just expired. I'm coming up to the most stressful time of year in my job in July and know I won't have the capacity to handle any thing else if A & L take it all the way. Do I have to bite the bullet now and start proceedings or can I wait until after July and then file with MCOL?

It is better to stick to process and time table as that does put some pressure on them.

However it is your claim and you can do it your way to your time table. The danger is of course that it goes out of your mind and you don't follow through due to life pressures etc.

All & Pester will push things as far as they possibly can before paying out. You claim is relatively small and I would expect them to throw the towel in quite quickly.

Keep going you'll get the cheque ......... good luck

There is no such thing as impossible; only the degree of difficulty required to achieve the desired outcome.
