Capnshades v barclaycard. Defence received & AQ dispensed. Please help.
Hi People,
I have followed the first few steps in reclaiming charges religiously, in my claim with Barclaycard they filed a defence on the 28th day. In addition to this the District Judge at Northampton ordered the transfer to Clerkenwell & Shoreditch Court. He also orderd that the filing of an aq be dispensed with unless the District Judge at Clerkenwell & Shoreditch orders otherwise. That was dated 01/06/07. I am confused now as to what will happen, also should I copy out Barclaycard's summary defence on this thread?
Their 1st defence was that Barclaycard was a division of Barclays bank PLC and not a legal entity in its own right!
Any guidance will be gratefully appreciated.
Capnshades.
