Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I have just applied for a court order for £1917.52 worth of charges, the A&L have filed a defence (this was sat). I arrived home from work today to find a cheque for £650 to cover the charges. They claim the charges have been reduced to £12 and I have been awarded the difference, I have done the math’s that is not the difference.
Someone please help me, should I continue with this claim as I feel I am still being treated unfairly. I want to refuse the claim as the amount I want is for over 2 accounts and they have ignored one of the accounts and are only willing to refund a fraction of what is on the other account. Someone please help, I don’t know what to do next,
