    Question cassie98 v Woolwich

HELP!! I have today received notice that my claim has been transferred to what they say is my local court. It is in fact approx. a 1 and a half hour drive, which I cannot possibly undertake. The notice has also got the new wording regarding the aqicon being dispensed with. I am now completely out of my depth. Incidentally I am a pensioner on guaranteed credit. Can someone tell me what to do next please?

Hi you dont need to panic this is standard now when using MCOL. You can post all your documents to your local court just ensure they are sent recoreded. Start a thread in your bank forum and post your questions/progress there. I have enclosed a link that will help you.

Hi and welcome to the site,

You've definately taken the first step into claiming back what's rightfully yours.

Spend time reading the FAQ's and the Step by Step guide as this will stop you making mistakes along the way. Use the letters and spreadsheets in the templates libraryicon as these have all been tried and tested in successful claims. Read as many threads as you can especially ones that relate to your bank. This is a SELF HELP site and won’t do the work involved for you. However, everything you need is on here somewhere.

Don't be afraid to ask any questions, no matter how stupid they may seem, but please remember that any advice that you receive is normally based on experience only and that you should seek expert advice if required.

Once you start the process of your claim remember to open a thread in the relative bank forum, this will enable you, and others helping you, to keep track of your claim.

All the best in your claim!!

Hi, me again!! Received in mail to-day "General Form of Judgement or Order". Basically the District Judge has ordered that the Court is considering striking out the defence in this action as an abuse of process.
If the Bank objects to this proposed strike out, it is ordered to file(in a specified time), a schedule setting out all claims of this type in England and Wales which have proceeded to a final contested hearing etc etc.
In the absence of any such objections being filed in time, the defence will be struck out a judgement entered for the amount claimed, together with
appropriate costs claimable. I am hoping for no objections!!!
