Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I had a joint account for 8 years with the A&L. last year we were charged over £1000.00 in only 5 months. The charges actually put us over our overdraft and when we paid all the monies back they closed the account and demanded the OD in our flexi account back (and send the debt collectors for it) Do we have a claim ?
You may also want to bear in mind that people who have had defaults against them due to charges are claiming for the default to be removed. If they closed your account and used a debt colelction agency you may have one (you should know if you have as you would have been notified of it).
