Default deb v alliance allocation fee

expecting my allocation questionnaireicon through any day now and my charges add to over £2000. I've hit financial troubles (student!) and now I don't know whether I can afford the fee of £100 (at least in the next 3 weeks).

Want some advice on what to do about this please don't want my case to fall through! Do the courts ever let you pay this once case is settled??

I didn't realise students could even claim working tax credits! I had one letter stating my case was being passed from MCOL to colchester court and now i just got another letter stating its been mved to southend court so i might write them a quick letter and see if i need to fill in an allocation questionnaireicon or not coz i haven't had one through yet.

Might get down to the job centre and check out my eligibility for benefits as well thanks for the tip!

Question Re: deb v alliance allocation fee

I got a letter through yesterday from the court and not sure i undertstand what it means, what the next stage is and roughly how long it will be before i get my charges back (it started in april feels like its been going on forever). My boyfriend got his charges back and never got a letter like this. Here's the letter if anyone can help me understand what it means i'd be hugely grateful:

    Upon the courts own initiative

TAKE NOTICE that the Allocation and Case Management Conference will take place on 13th September 2007 at 11am at Southend county courticon, to be heard before district judge Dudley

    When you should attend.

PLEASE NOTE: this case may be released to another Judge possibly at a different court.

My interpretation is that the hearing is an allocation hearing. Looking at this link http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...ation+hearings it seems that its normal for Southend court. This link http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...ate-guide.html will also give you some guidance for court appearances
