    i am claiming £4440+120+100=4660
    filed mcol 25th april
    cheque for £820 in post 1st may
    cheque returned 2nd may
    acknowledgment of service 3rd may
    they filed a defence 14th may (wragg)
    court transfer to my local court 25th may
    phoned court no aqicon needed 1st june
    letter from court allocation fee £100 2nd june
    £100 allocation fee sent to court 2nd june

    whatever next?

    recieved letter from A&L 8th june
    after eight weeks have now elapsed and if you are not happy to wait for our conlusion, you may wish to refer the matter to the Ombudsmanicon,we will help you if you wish to take this step;however i do hope we can resolve matters before then.

    making me the same offer (£820) dated 1 may, the offer is time bound and is available until 18 july.

    I dont understand where they pick these offers from - just out of the air I think They dont seem to correspond to the amount claimed at all.

    I asked them for a Breakdownicon of the offer - and sent a copy to the solicitor ( even though I was refusing it!) of course I got no reply.

    It seems you have made every attempt to settle - so now just ensure your preparation for the next stage is thorough ( as I am sure it will be)

    4 weeks to the court date 7th aug (court bundle ready) directions from the judge to send in my spreadsheet of charges giving the reasons why the charges were levied,thats it
    No reply from wragge from my nudge letter.bothered! i am not!

    Oh you lucky thing you!!
    They tend to treat everybody differently. Mines on the 16/8 and have been told today from Wraggs that they are not making or recieving offers because of the Test Case., and that my case will probably put on hold.
    I am so happy for you, but just a tad jealous.
