In reply to my letter - rejection of refund and letter before action (both were sent on the same day) - I have now received a response from Barclaycard.
I have been informed they won't offer me anything more than the £56 offered the first time round, and their stance is very clear on this. I on the other hand have rejected this refund but the amount has been deposited into my account... Now, after 14 days of me posting the letter before action, I'm in the mood of taking Barclaycard to court.
When filling in the court forms, do I need to minus the offer already given by Barclaycard?
Hi, to be clear, have you sent a prelim letter asking for the money followed by lba warning of court action. If so it's time to file in court.
You really need to stick to one thread to ask your questions then people can see what you have done already and help more effectively. If you haven't seen them already have a look at these http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...tructions.html
Thought i'd update everyone with whats happening. Barclaycard have still not removed my £56, it's twice now that I've asked to remove the money. And yes, I did send a letter before action,
And just this morning I received a pile of statements from them, I found this odd. Anyway, when I take this issue to court can I still ask for the full amount even though some of the money is in my account? I want them to remove it but not having any luck with it.
