You've definately taken the first step into claiming back what's rightfully yours.

Spend time reading the FAQ's and the Step by Step guide as this will stop you making mistakes along the way. Use the letters and spreadsheets in the templates library as these have all been tried and tested in successful claims. Read as many threads as you can especially ones that relate to your bank. Have only found this site today some great info.
however I do need some help.
We have already sent all the letters to the bank was offered about half of the amount we were claiming.
Went ahead with the claim through mcol 14 days was up today but Barclays have entered a defence mcol say that i can't do anymore online and i have to wait to hear from my local court.

I am really worried now as I didn't expect to have to go to court, I have no idea how to prepare for this court case or what to do next. The claim with court fees is about £1980.00

Wishing I had excepted the lower offer. It's all very scary.

If anyone can give me any advise as to what I should do next and what the next stage involves.
I have found info on a court bundle and have printed it of but it all seems a bit over my head
would be very greatful for any help out there.

Ok take a deep breath ...... and relax a bit i know its scary BUT be assured that Barclays dont want to go to court once you get a court date they will proberbly enter into settlement talks with you ...... once you actually Barclays defence through post on here and you will be helped through the next stage

After filing with MCOL, did you send in copies of your SOC's to both parties?

Thanks for the responses I will await the paper work through the post and then post again when received.
As for if I sent soc's to both parties no I didn't not sure what soc's are and who you are saying I should have sent them to.
Really greatful for the help.
will post again when I receive the paperwork hopefully not to long.
A bit more relaxed after reading through some of the other cases.

Your SOC is the list of charges on the spreadsheet used to calculate the interest.
You need to send a copy to both parties [use recorded delivery]

Yes I did send list of all charges in the original letters that i sent.
I started this process using the guy on t.v. website and did everything as it was set out to be done.
Sorry for being a bit thick thanks for letting me know what soc's are.
Will send them again when I receive court papers.

OK, but you are advised to send them now, or Barclays will attempt to use it against you, your choice!

Also, Im assuming your thread title is your surname?
If so your username is your first name also?

This gives the bank a direct insight into what you are doing because they DO monitor this site.

You need to PM a Moderator to get the details changed.

Ok I have just been reading the link you included I will send them now.
but can you tell me who i need to send to is it to the bank and mcol.

Hi where are now with this case and have you been speaking to Bs Litigation team in regards to a settlement.

I have just PM's Zootscoot, hopefully she can help you change it, you will have to decide what you want things to be called though

Hi you will need to decide.
1. what your thread is going to be called.
2. what you want your new username will be. [remember you will need this to sign in, your old one will not work]

Thanks for the help as you can see have managed to change user name am working on getting the thread name changed to.
No I have not been speaking to litigation team as yet.
Will be sending info of to Barclays and court tomorrow as it did not go with mcol info.
