Hi, I have a limited company hairdressing business in Scotland and have a business account with the Bank of Scotland. I need help to reclaim about an estimated £5000 in bank charges. I tried the Martin Lewis Reclaim bank charges website & sent the bank of Scotland a personal sample letter requesting bank charges etc they wrote back saying that because I had a business account thet do not have to pay me bus they will send me a goodwill gesture payment of £105. I requested the bank charges 60 days ago that they send me all the relevant charges for the business acoount for the last 5 years. I phoned the bank manager 2 weeks ago and she stated that there was a backlog for these as there was a lot of similar claims going on at present. I still have not received any to date.Just a leeter offering me £105. What is the procedure for scottish Limited company businesses. Can I claim for the full amount or do I have to claim for each £750 through the small claims court. The future of my business and 10 employees depends on whether I can claim back this money and as fast as possible. Please advise as to my next move. Should I restart the process again and send the CAG business sample letter to my bank. ? Please Help.
Regards Gary
