Got a parking Ticket, Ticket was displayed but had slipped down.
Hi all,
Just wondering if you can help me. I park in a council car park all day about three times a week for work, Last night when I got to my car I had a ticket saying a valid ticket had not been displayed. The ticket was put on my dashboard (as it isnt one of those sticky ones) and had slipped down but was still visable, if they had bothered to look properly.
Where do I stand? Do I have to pay it? Heres a copy of the tickets:

In the first instance, I would simply write to the Council and enclose a copy of the ECN and the ticket, pointing out that you park there regularly, the ticket was displayed as normal and that the warden must have failed to see it.

Hi Cornflake,
I have just successfully appealed a similar case with a London Council. ('sticky ticket fell to the floor' thread).
I am no expert but looking at your ticket above there is no vehicle registration details entered, so how can they prove its for your vehicle??? Even if you have removed these details to display the ticket on here you can still fight this.It is also very useful to see the back of the ticket.
