Talking What do I do now????

    Hello,

I am currently trying to reclaim bank charges for two alliance and leicester accounts.
    Account No.1 - £868.41 inc interesticon
    Account No.2 - £1270.70 inc interest

The Bank originally fobbed me off with letters along the line of we are right, you are wrong and we`ll get back to you in 28days blah blah etc.

I`ve gone through the steps as shown on this website and also sent one letter regarding Account No.1 offering to accept £650.00 (25% less) as a full payment to settle that account, they responded with offering as "goodwill" - £267.00 take it or leave it.

Last week 21/05/07 I sent my money off to moneyclaim online which was £80 for account No 1 and £120.00 for account No 2.
On the 29/05/07 they sent me two letters accompanied with cheques saying they were willing to pay for
    Account No.1 - £332.00
    and
    Account No.2 - £478.50
Both of which include the £80.00 and £120.00 I sent off to moneyclaim online. also stating if I accept their offer of settlement they will continue to operate my account.

I`m now wondering what my next step is???

Do I accept their offers or send them back and refuse their offer

If I decide to do the latter, how do I go about it and will I still be in a strong position to claim all of my money.

    Thanks

    James

    jimmyowl177,
Hi and welcome to the CAGicon site.

You've definately taken the first step into claiming back what's rightfully yours.

Spend time reading the FAQ's and the Step by Step guide as this will stop you making mistakes along the way. Use the letters and spreadsheets in the templates libraryicon as these have all been tried and tested in successful claims. Read as many threads as you can especially ones that relate to your bank. This is a SELF HELP site and won’t do the work involved for you. However, everything you need is on here somewhere.

Don't be afraid to ask any questions, no matter how stupid they may seem, but please remember that any advice that you receive is normally based on experience only and that you should seek expert advice if required.

Once you start the process of your claim remember to open a thread in the relative bank forum, this will enable you, and others helping you, to keep track of your claim.

    Good luck with your claim.

You send in the rejection letter that states you accept/reject but have started legal proceedings......You MUST reply to this letter or it could go against you in court. It wont harm your claim at all.
    see here for letter:

    Use letter 5 or 6
