Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I have wrote & asked for the last 6 years statements to be sent to me. They have been sent but not in full. I am missing the first 2 years & the last year. do I write & apply again or carry on with the claim
I'm in the same boat 1st 2 years of statements missing - if you look at
Libraries > Bank templates library > Template 2.
This is what I'll be sending on 14th June if statements still not arrived. I think it will show that your serious and may help when you go onto claim the charges back.

Good Luck with your claim.

Write to them stating they havent complied with the Data Protection Act as the information is incomplete.
Tell them how many days they have left to comply (they have 40 days in total so count how many days are left of the 40 from the date they cashed your cheque) and tell them that if they dontcomply you will be reporting them to the Information Commissioner.
Its just a delaying tactic that a few of the banks seem to be using now.
Hope this helps

Alternatively, go ahead with the claim from the statements you have, then when you have been refunded you can ask Natwest for the remaining statements and claim for them also. Don't let them use their delay tactics.
