Thread: Recommended garages

Does any one know if there is a database where garages are perhaps recommended by Joe Public. I am very wary of taking my vehicle to an independent because I do not know the quality of their work and whether I am going to get ripped off.
As a result I generally take it to the main dealer and pay the extra because I know if there is a hassle and can get it resolved fairly quickly in most cases. Plus as they are working on my brand of car every day they should not be making mistakes. If any one can recommend a good reliable independent garage around Kidderminster or even Worcester I would be grateful. The vehicle is a Toyota Hi-Lux Surf diesel.

All garages have to abide by the same rulebook, so really your covered even if they bodge it.

I ususally try and look for the smaller independent garages round back streets, rather than the ones which offer recovery and all stuff like that.

these type seem to be always busy and keen to rush through a job
