We've recently sent a SAR to GE Money for the following accounts;
Debenhams, Kwikfit, Evans, B&Q and Currys.
GE Money have sent back statements but saying that
'after extensive enquiries, on our retrival system, we have been experiencing problems attaining a number of statements'
In total there are 12 statements missing, spread across 2 of the accounts, what should I do if they can't provide this info??
You should first of all report them to the ICO for their record keeping. They may decide to fine them.
Secondly if they can not supply the statements you should just assume there were charges on them and add it to your claim - charging them interest at the card rate of course.

We only had 2 statements missing but we did what rory is suggesting and they paid up. We are still fighting for the interest though.
