Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I bought a Smart Roadster in March from a local dealer. The car still had 5 months manufacturers warranty with it. After a month of having the car I found that it leaked in the drivers door when it rained or went to the car wash etc
I took it to Mercedes and after 3 initial failed attempts to get the right part they finally managed to get the parts and had my car for three weeks. During this time I was provided with a courtesy car.
Anyways as you all know its been raining this weekend and yes it still leaks. Worse now than it did before! I went back to the local dealership from where I bought it from and he said I need to take it up with Merc and if i wanted he would also call them on my behalf.
As this car is my only car and sits outside and not in a garage it really isn’t good enough. I now want either a replacement (that doesn’t leak) or a refund.
Any advice
Who should i really be going back to?
What would happen about the finance that i took out to purchase the car?
Anyone had a similar experience?
Thanks in advance id really appreciate some advice
