Hiya. Can anyone help me with Barclaycard.

Sent request for statements. Received them and they owe me £200. Sent 1st letter requesting charges back. Had a response as a gesture of goodwill blah blah blah they will offer me £40.

Obviously I will be telling them no way jose. But do I send a rejection letter. or do i still send lba. Any help please xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Send them this re Card/Account no:Thank you for your letter dated xxxx
I respectfully decline your offer of settlement and request once again that you return to me all charges imposed on this account totalling xxx.
I will accept the sum offered only as part settlement and on the clear understanding that I will pursue recovery of the remainder with a county court claim if necessary.
My letter before action sent previously indicates that you have until xxx to respond before Court action commences. You are reminded that there will be no extension to this timescale.
I trust this clarifies my position.
Going by our experience they won't give you the dosh so then you raise MCOL or as a lot of people are doing NI. We got a refund of £123 into our account against £355 and have a preliminary hearing with Sharclaycard at the end of June, expect and don't panic when they raise a defence at the last minute and prepare case as directed on this site.
