Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
As far as I know a Subject access request covers all of the information that a company holds on you on whatever system they have. If this is specifically for a loan it may be worth writing to ALPF (Alliance & Leicester Personal Finance) at their registered address requesting the info - you may have to send a furhter £10 - but they def have to compy with the DPA - well they did when I worked there years ago anyway! Oh & if they tell you that they have no records ask for them back from Microfiche as they where there when I was & they had an external storage site as well.
