Is there anyone who can offer me some advice please? I issued court proceedings against Barclaycard after they offered my only a small proportion of the money I was claiming from them. Claimed £720.00, refunded £174.00. I refused the money they had refunded to my Barclaycard account, as I didn't want them to think I was about to settle for anything less than the full amount. I asked for the money to be taken out of my account, which they duly did. Will this go against me and be seen as unreasonable behaviour on my behalf by the courts. After all, they refunded this money without first asking me to accept it, they just refunded it. I hope not as I wasn't trying to be unreasonable, I just want all of my money back.
What happens now? I know I will receive a hearing date from the court, but can I enter further details to my defence?
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
