Hello all,

I joined a while ago and sent off my Subject access request letter but haven't posted yet so thought I better make the effort.

I had no response from Barclays after 3 weeks sending the first letter, but I rang them direct after they charged me another overdrawn fee (the number given on the letter they sent telling me they had charged me £30). I told the chap on the phone I wanted all statements covering 6 years and he said he would order it immediately. Pack just arrived this morning, less than a week after speaking to him so I'm busy going through it all. I've got to say, it's quite interesting reading about what I was doing 6 years ago!

Thanks for the info on the forum, I need to decide now whether to continue on my own or let someone do it for me for a percentage.

You do not need someone to do it for you. It is not as scary as you think. It is as simple as sending a letter and waiting for reply. After receiving the reply or no reply, you respond with another letter. Is that what you want to pay someone else to do for you?
