Maybe not so extreme but I will be sending the preliminary letter with a generous estimate. Most of the banks i'm dealing with I do have some statements showing various charges and I will be estimating the charges on those i.e 6 X Citicard statements = £250 X 12 (6 yearsicon) = £3000 + bits and bobs. If they can't supply statements within 40 days not only have they unlawfully nicked your cash they've then failed to supply your data, how cack will they look.

I called Richard Cooke, the Compliance guy and my statements arrived the next day. The statements are arriving quickly on his desk, but he is snowed under then going through and detailing any 'manual intervention', which he told me is any time they have refunded your account manually, or have had to call you. I said send the statements and that Iwas happy to receive any manual intervention details when he reached me in the pile.

send them a consumer credit act request for your original signed docs also, if they dont send them in 12 days the debt comes unenforcable, after 30 days they commit a criminal offence, i have got them to wipe my £2400 slate clean, also they are paying the money back that i paid them, they are useless at keeping the docs ect, wot you got to lose

TOTALLY debt free as of 2007, Fantastic,
