Default Advice needed - awaiting £££

Just 24 hours before the planned court date, i agreed a settlement with Woolwich (Barclaysicon) in the region of £2k for monies owed on bank charges against me. I suspended the court action pending clearance of payment (just in case they didn't pay).

Four weeks later and i still have not received a penny. I have called Barclays who are 'investigating' the matter but i'm getting nowhere fast.

I've re-opened the court claim and ask for their defence to be struck out.

They are blaming the changeover/takeover from Woolwich to Barclays..'s no use to me.

    Advice anyone?

Continue with your court claim - the takeover excuse is irrelevant. They made you an offer that they have not honoured.

Just to put it in perspective - do you think if the shoe was on the other foot they would wait 4 weeks for you to pay?
