Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Just 24 hours before the planned court date, i agreed a settlement with Woolwich (Barclays) in the region of £2k for monies owed on bank charges against me. I suspended the court action pending clearance of payment (just in case they didn't pay).
Four weeks later and i still have not received a penny. I have called Barclays who are 'investigating' the matter but i'm getting nowhere fast.
I've re-opened the court claim and ask for their defence to be struck out.
They are blaming the changeover/takeover from Woolwich to Barclays..'s no use to me.
fortunatley I have not had to wait four weeks just 9 days and I am already ticked off with Barclays...how long does it take to raise a cheque and post it out.
