Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I wondered if anyone can help me with 2 queries. I requested my 6 years statements from Barclaycard at end of March. I have received statements for only a couple of years (just before the 40 days was up). Barclaycard state that the rest of the statements, as they are on microfiche will take a further 6 weeks. Is there anyway I can hurry them along?
Also, when calculating the charges, do I count back the 6 years from the date I sent my letter to Barclaycard requesting my statements (at end of March) or do I calculate them from the date I receive the remainder of my statements? Which, at the rate Barclaycard are going, I could miss out on a few months backdating them?
