Well here it goes, you completed MCOL on 14th you give then 5 days for it to be deemed served, that brings you to the 19th, so it should have changed to served, then they have 14 days to acknowledge, in my case they did it in 1 day, but on others they havent done it till day 14. So then you need to give them a further 14 days to enter a defence.
so that will bring you to the 17th June.
It is not unusual for MCOL to not update on time, as they are very busy so give it till tomorrow and then phone them they are very helpfull and nice, i phoned them a couple of times and they were lovely.
Caz Hope this helps
hi everyone
just to let you know have just checked how my claim is going on mcol and they have just acknoledged 1/6/07 so what will happen now? does anyone know?
all help will be appreciated as i will know what is going on in my other claim i have got going on at the same time against them
just got my acknowledgment of service from Barclays today rosemary treves brown acting as solicitor for them (anyone dealt with her yet).
what happens next.
any ideas what i should do now?
how long have they now got?
do i have to send anything?
read i send them a copy of my schedule of charges?
also read some have phoned them to see if they want to settle is that a good idea?
Thanks for that saintly 1.
a problem i have i only printed one copy of my soc thought i would do another if i had to when i got to this stage however noticed when i was doing my second claim against Barclays that the interest changes by the day, does this matter? if so what can i do to get the one that is the same as the one i sent them if anything?
cheers for the patience everyone.
hi everyone
latest from my mcol Barclays have decided to defend on the deadline day
thought i would keep you all up to date.
do they normally pay up around this time?
any advice?
they tend to only think of settling once you actually have a court date ... You will get a Notice of Transfer to your local court then it depends how how busy your local court is as to how long it will then take to get a court date through
Any typos spelling mistakes are due to leprechauns in my keyboard they move the letters around sometimes (amended just for Bookie)
