Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
after sending list of charges to A&L for 8937.00 and telling them I would be prepared to accept 6700.00 in full settlement, they have still not got back to me since reply stating they would get back to me asap, that was 2 weeks ago.
I am now unsure what to do next,
do I now file claim to court(online or at court?), and if so do I have to add interest(?), as I did not include on original ltr to bank.
Do I follow same procedure as everyone else even though my claim is higher than 5K.
I am very confused and scared of carrying on with this as I do not want to go to court!
Try not to worry, have a read through some of the threads and you will see how every one else is doing, also you will get a good idea of how A&L are doing things.
Im assuming you have sent your prelim and your lba?
Have a read through the step by step guide, you should bookmark it, as it is great to recheck your on the right path.
