Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Well I wasnt expecting that this morning! I've only sent one letter off, the first letter, and received a letter this morning offering me my full requested amount! Couldnt believe it when I opened the envolope. It gave the whole "we dont accept any responsibility for the charges...however...we are willing, as a good will gesture, to offer you....."
Just about to sign the form that was included and send off today. Anyone have any idea how long it takes for them to put the money into your account? Cheers guys.
Hi Tiny, congratulations!!! What a quick win!!!! Think it's normally 10 to 14 working days for them to credit your account - but a lot of peeps on here have waited much longer than this so keep on top of them!!!
I had the same letter, but was after I had filed through MCOL. They offered my full claim for charges but not interest or court fees. I actually spoke to their customer relations poeple and told them they have 7 days to come up with the full amount - no joy yet! (Deadline Friday)
