Question My new claim agiants A&L

Hello, I had a letter from A&L saying that if I did not put a certain amount of money in my account each month they would charge me. I understand, though disagree, that they charge £35 for sending a letter, but I cannot see how they can justify charging people for NOT using an account; by definition, that is making them do less work! Has anyone fought against these "low usage" charges? As it happens, I decided to close the account and go to a bank that would offer Free Bankingicon. This new bank offered to transfer all of my direct debits etc. Unfortuanately a certain building society refused to move my mortgage at the bank's request, saying that I must ask them myself. Needless to say, this caused my mortgageicon DD to be presented to my A&L account after everything else had been switched. I've been charged a bounced dd charge and then an unauthorised overdrafticon charge. The next thing I know I have a letter saying that I owe them £110. I do not understand where they have got all these charges from! I sent them the template letter saying that they must pay up or I will start action but sicne then I have had two letters from them saying my complaint is receiving attention but it is taking longer than expected to review. Should I wait any longer or should I go to moneyclaim online and start the action now? Thanks.
