    Probably take the full 40.

use the time wisely to read up just in case it goes all the way.

    Good luck

There is no set pattern really.

However I would think that due to the amount of claims that they are receiving 40 days would be a safe bet.

If they do not reply within this timeframe then you can send them a Non Compliance letter whiuch can be found in the templates section.

    Any probs let us know.

i sent mine around about then but cos im so blimming inpatient i rang them today, the customer relations no. and they put me through to a dept that deal with charges and they told me they havent recd my letter but would send all statements free of charge cos 'thats what they're doing now' i refused to discuss any other aspect with them and told them i just wanted the statements. However actually sending them is another matter! Maybe you should try talking to them?

Is it 'paid referral'? If so, this is when they honour a cheque on your account even though you haven't got sufficient funds in your account to cover the amount on the cheque. Claim 'em back!!!! xx

It doesn't matter what they call it, it is still an unlawful charge and you can get itback
